From Thing 1 and Thing 2 to Ms Trunchbull, the staff of St Fergus’ National School led by example in dressing up for World Book Day 2017. It was a day to remember as the whole school community dressed up as their favourite character from a book in honour of the day.
Every year the costumes seem to get better and better with parents and children alike working together to create a school day which the children will remember forever. A huge “Míle Buíochas” to the grown ups for their help in making the day so special again this year.
Each child received a book mark and a World Book Day Token or book to celebrate. Many book related activities took place in each classroom, from favourite book surveys to book reports to pictures of our favourite book.
Well done to all!!
