Míle buíochas to all who helped out and supported our Nevin Maguire Fundraising Cookery Demonstration in November. There was a terrific turn out for this event, with a wonderful atmosphere in Ceol Corbraí for the entire night.

The theme of the night was Christmas Food with the aromas of the season wafting through the air as Nevin showed off his skills in the kitchen, amid his witty stories and jokes. The laughs were many and the man himself being a joy to watch and listen to. His positive attitude and love of food was contagious with people gathering lots of ideas for the food of the festive season. Cook books were purchased and won by many attendees, with Nevin taking time to talk and sign autographs for all.

Congratulations and well done to our many prize winners. The amazing raffle prizes helped to ensure that the tickets flew from the hands of our ever supportive Parents Council sellers. Go raibh maith agaibh to the many local and national companies who sponsored prizes for the night. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

We wish the best of luck in their continuing ventures to the businesses who participated in our Artisan Foodfair prior to the start of the demonstration. While sampling cheese and wine from local businesses, we were allowed to sample fare as diverse as cream liquor and the old fashioned fry up. No one left hungry!
