School visit from Limerick County Council.

On 16 May 2016 we had a visit from Sinead who works with the Water section of Limerick County Council. This visit was part of the assessment process for our third Green Flag. She met with the whole school and gave us a talk on the various steps required in achieving the water flag. She was given a tour of the school and noted the many displays and also the activities that are ongoing throughout the year – she was very impressed with our Green School notice board. She recommended we visit the waste water treatment in Kilmallock and was delighted to hear we are participating in a beach clean-up with Beach Clean Ireland in June. Sinead advised us on completing our Green School file and we look forward to seeing her again next year where we will hopefully be raising our third Green Flag!
