As has become tradition in St Fergus’ N.S., on the day of the Easter Holidays, the pupils in Ms Dillane’s class treat us to a dramatisation of the events of Easter Week. Starting on Palm Sunday, as Jesus enters Jerusalem and is greeting by crowds throwing palm, they lead us through the last days of Jesus on earth. With the help of narrators, the pupils dramatise, The Last Supper, The Agony in the Garden, The Torture of Our Lord, The Journey to Golgotha, The Crucifixion and the Resurrection. The pupils retell the events in a meaningful and reverential way, giving the younger children a wonderful understanding of what happened on that first Easter. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir.
