On Friday 17th February 2017 St. Fergus’ National School held a ‘Blue Day’ as part of our Water Green Flag Initiative.
Every pupil from Junior Infants to 6th class, as well as staff members, wore blue in order to raise awareness of the need to conserve or save water. During our Friday Assembly we discussed and recapped on the different ways we have can save water both at school and at home.
Thanks to Mrs Healy and her little helpers who created the beautiful borders for our photographs of the day. They really added to the brightness of the day. Míle, mIle buíochas to Mr Wallace and Ms Walsh who organised the occasion, along with all projects running in the school currently, as we attempt to achieve our Third Green Flag!
